The Institute of Chemical Technology, (ICT, formerly UDCT) was established on October 1, 1933 by an explicit desire and money of industrialist and philanthropists, to cater the requirement of chemical industry.
ICT is Asia's premier Chemical Engineering and Technology research institute. It has an unparallel record of more than 77 years of excellence in teaching, research, and interaction in every possible with industry.

On September 12th, 2008 ICT was granted a Deemed University status by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. ICT has strong and symbiotic relationship with industries for decades and hence has realized the relevant issues in details. With the deemed university status, ICT will become the vibrant centre of excellence, catalyzing the economic growth of the country. AICTE recognized ICT as best postgraduate centre in the country. |
