Modernisation of the laboratories:
MUICT with its eleven departments in technology and applied science caters to the needs of most of the chemical industries. With the rapid development of knowledge and technology, the course curriculum for each technology has been phenomenol changes over the years. It is to respond to this perceived need that MUICT has decided to modernise its different laboratories. This will provide opportunity to the students to work on the latest machinery presently used in the industry and the latest analytical backup instrument for controlling product quality.
MUICT has already identified the equipments for modernisation of laboratories for each department. The list of which is annexured in this document. The cost estimates have also been provided. The release of required funds from State Government is awaited.
The first document for procurring equipments (International Competative Biding, ICB) has been already sent to NPIU. As per the further instructions, the document is under revision and will be send to NPIU for approval.
