Colouration of texturised and differential dyeable polyester fibres. Weight reduction of polyester and its blends. Graft-copolymerisation reaction onto polyester and acrylic fibres. The electrokinetic properties and electrical conductivity of modified fibres. Interaction of dye-ions, Nature of modified fibres and potential uses of such fibres for industrial application. Melt blend fibres and their spinning and dyeability studies. Modification of natural gums and synthesis of polymeric thickeners for printing. Natural dyes for natural and synthetic fibres. Processing of silk and fibre substitute for silk. Studies on light fastness of polyester/cotton blends. Studies on Detergents, Stain removers, Flame-retardants, Antibacterial agents, Enzymes, Optical Brighteners and other Textile auxiliaries. Studies in Technical Textiles.
