Research Highlights
  • Micellar enhanced ultrafiltration is the effective tool for de-metalation of effluent streams. Toxic, carcinogenic metal ions containing effluents can be treated using this technology, which then can be then easily discharged. The retentate is rich in metal ion content and metals can be easily extracted from this stream. Effluents containing Ni, Co, Cr are being studied by Micellar enhanced ultrafiltration.
